MORE ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
In our program, the focus is on the caregivers.
Caregivers often give up a lot in their own lives, while caring for others. Many caregivers feel strong emotions due to caregiving pressures.
We support you to take care of yourself better AND get more assistance in your caregiving role from state, city, and community resources.
Then you can feel better about your caregiving, minimize burnout, and feel more fulfilled in your own life.
Get more support for yourself, and share with others who are also navigating the challenges of caregiving, in a
supportive, confidential setting.
Get email resources or a helpful call even if you can't make the meetings at the Long Island City YMCA.
