Go FLY A KITE KITE FESTIVAL 

The GO FLY A KITE KITE FESTIVAL sponsored by the Wheaton Park District, Gift of Wings and Giftofwings.com, and the Wheaton Eye Clinic, will take place in Graf Park in Wheaton, 1855 Manchester Rd from 10 am until 1 pm.&nbsp; The Grand Launch will take place at 11:00 am, with the Wheaton Eye Clinic Kids Mad Dash taking place at 12:00 pm.&nbsp; The first 35 kids that sign up and participate will receive a FREE kite compliments of the Wheaton Eye Clinic.&nbsp; Gift of Wings will be featuring the Badger Dream team flying the Giant Kites, some over 100 feet long.&nbsp; Gift of Wings will be selling kites for this great event.&nbsp; Food Trucks will be on-site!&nbsp; Now, come over to Graf Park and GO FLY A KITE!

KASHMIR brings only the best of LED Zeppelin to their fans by recreating the experience of a 70's LED Zeppelin show. Utilizing authentic vintage stage gear, costumes, and special effects, KASHMIR reproduces LED Zeppelin dead on with great respect and admiration. "It's not about us, it's about LED Zeppelin".

Kashmir was formed in 2001, after lifelong area resident, musician and guitarist Frank Livingston decided to form a show based on substance and feel. KASHMIR performs LED Zeppelin's entire catalog including LED Zeppelin's classic movie, “The Song Remains The Same”.

today. On Sunday May 3rd come celebrate the 100th anniversary of the
Mother Road with Junk in
the Trunk Morris at our
Gardner location. Our
outdoor flea market will be open from 9AM until 3PM
at Parks
Place, 102 S. Rt. 53, a
block east of I-55 (Gardner Exit #227). Parks Place was
once a Standard Oil Filling Station located on Rt. 66, and
our May 3rd market
is part of Red Carpet Corridor 2026, featuring family
friendly events along Rt.
66 from Joliet to Towanda. New
vendors are always welcome, and
we do not require advance
reservations, so if
you would like to be a vendor in
Gardner for Red Carpet Corridor this
coming Sunday, or at
any of our upcoming markets in
Morris, Mazon
or Gardner, simply arrive
at 8AM, pay the $15 vendor fee and take an available spot. Proceeds
from vendor fees received
at this event will be
donated to the Grundy County Historical Society. For
