We can’t wait to welcome back renowned singer-songwriter <a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCU2pXRejwigfudTQqoptPmQ/videos" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Julie Silver</a>,&nbsp;who will be accompanied by musician Eric Eid-Reiner, along with Sandy Pochapin and Leslee Olender, members of our BTM choir. We look forward to sharing meaningful High Holy Day services with the community.

Monday, September 21, 2026 10 am – Yom Kippur Morning Service 2-3:30 pm – Learning Session with Rabbi Emily: Standing at the Threshold Join Rabbi Emily for a close look at Ne’ilah, the final service of Yom Kippur, and the powerful image at its heart: the gates about to close. We’ll look at what our tradition says about those gates – and how our tradition itself argues about whether it ever really shuts. 4 pm – Yizkor 5 pm – Ne’ilah 6 pm – Break Fast

Calmer Con is a sensory-friendly comics and pop culture convention designed with neurodivergent fans in mind. With a quieter venue, activities rated by energy level, and a Calmer Space to rest and regulate, Calmer Con is designed to be a welcoming place for attendees with autism, ADHD, anxiety, and related sensory sensitivities. This year, our special guests are cartoonists Judd Winick (Hilo) and Ellen T. Crenshaw (The Baby-Sitters Club), miniature painter Phil the Glacial Geek, and ADHD Essentials host Brendan Mahan. Ephraim Curtis Middle School

On Sunday, September 20th, Sudbury will host our third inaugural <a href="https://kids.pmc.org/sudbury" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Sudbury PMC Kids Bike Ride</a>.&nbsp;Our ride is a 1-mile loop that riders may enjoy as long as they would like. The one mile course is entirely paved and loops through the beautiful residential neighborhoods of historic Sudbury. Parents are welcome to ride with their children but it is not required. If a parent chooses to accompany their child on the bike, we ask that they register as volunteers.&nbsp;
Many kids choose to ride the loop 3-6-12 or even 15 times. We encourage riders to participate as long as they would like. We will have special badges for riders who accomplish 5-8-12 and 15 miles, too! Please indicate at registration an estimate of your rider's total distance (this will help us for event organization).&nbsp;There is also an enclosed parking lot loop all starting from Curtis Middle School in Sudbury, MA. (Adults may opt to register as volunteers if they would like to ride with the kids). Before the ride there will be music and bike decorating; during the ride and following there will be an Ice-Cream Truck, Food Truck, Coffee Truck, huge bouncy castle, lawn games, music and more. All registered riders will get a free ice cream from our friends at Trombetta’s Farm Ice Cream. Registration takes place from 8:30am-9:45am. The ride is from 10:00am-11:30am, and food and games will be available from 10:00am - 1:00pm.
“The Pan-Mass Challenge is a Massachusetts-based bike-a-thon that raises more money for charity than any other single athletic fundraising event in the country. Always held the first weekend in August, the PMC raises funds for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a world leader in adult and pediatric cancer treatment and research. Each summer, thousands of riders and volunteers from 43 states and 12 countries participate in the PMC, all with a common goal: to find a cure for cancer.
100 percent of all rider-raised funds go directly to cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund. The PMC is Dana-Farber’s single largest supporter and is 62 percent of the Jimmy Fund’s annual revenue. Since 1980, the PMC has raised $972 million for Dana-Farber.”
The Sudbury PMC Kids Bike Ride empowers young participants to contribute to a meaningful cause while enjoying a fun activity. By offering multiple course options, every child will have the opportunity to participate and make a difference - regardless of age or ability. Each ride distance is carefully planned to be safe and enjoyable, with designated routes through historic Sudbury neighborhoods that are well-marked and closely monitored by volunteers. For the youngest participants, the tot lot loop provides a secure environment where kids can ride in a contained area - strollers, scooters, tricycles are ALL welcome!
Beyond the joy of bike riding, the Sudbury PMC Kids Bike Ride serves as a powerful educational experience for children, teaching them about the impact of collective efforts in fighting cancer. As they pedal for a purpose, they learn about empathy, community involvement, and the importance of supporting breakthroughs in treatment and cures at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. This event not only raises crucial funds for cancer research but also instills valuable life lessons in the young riders; collectively we all pedal towards a more cancer-free future. As with all PMC rides, every penny donated goes directly to cancer treatment and research at Dana-Farber.

Your child will have a blast mastering the hula-hoop or challenging friends to an engaging obstacle course. Then, for all our budding biologists, meet with exotic animal ambassadors and learn about the wild world of reptiles!
