Bring your family and friends for an afternoon filled with live music, delicious food trucks, local vendors, children's activities, games, and community fun. Whether you're a current SHSD family, an alumnus, or a neighbor looking for a great local event, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
For three decades, SHEF has funded innovative classroom grants, educational programs, and opportunities that inspire creativity, curiosity, and excellence for students across the Somerset Hills School District. SHEF30 is a chance to celebrate that impact while bringing the community together for an unforgettable day.

The Chester Lions Club Oktoberfest Weekend brings the spirit of Oktoberfest to Chubb Park in Chester, NJ for two full days of food, music, drinks, and family-friendly fun. Guests can enjoy authentic beer, incredible festival food, live entertainment, kids’ activities, and a lively community atmosphere that makes this one of Chester’s favorite annual traditions. Whether you’re coming for the food, the music, the beer, the car show, or just a great day out with friends and family, Oktoberfest Weekend has something for everyone. It’s not your average history tour — and it’s definitely not your average afternoon out. It’s a spirited, social, history-filled experience where the past steps off the page and right into the streets of Bernardsville.
