My background began as the one of the first fitness instructors in my

area, before the fitness craze.

I was approached by the owner, of the

first gym in the area, asking if I would be interested in teaching

exercise classes at her spa.

That began a long career in fitness and nutrition, which lead to

working as a certified fitness instructor for a local club for about 10

years…in fact, I actually implemented a stage that was in the

classroom, as a step to create challenging and creative toning and

aerobic classes…before Rebok Step was even invented.

Not long after, I began teaching my own aerobic and fitness classes in

locations in the Bethel & Danbury area, which included aerobics,

toning & step classes as well as classes for children (which I named

after my daughter), Taylor…Taylor’d Bodies Fitness.

Over time I decided to bring things closer to home, I earned a

Certification as a personal trainer and nutrition counselor and for the

next 10 years I worked with women to achieve their personal fitness

goals.

I decided to take a short hiatus and focus on my children for several

years and it wasn’t really until after the birth of my grandson, that I

became certified as a Lactation Consultant and post partum doula

working for three years in this field.

The combination of working with new mothers and my own health

crisis, that The combination of working with new mothers and my own health

crisis, that brought me to the realization that women need help in

healing their bodies thru their relationship with food.

Food is what begins the path of sickness and disease and it is, what

can make us well again. With women at the helm of the kitchen,

shopping and preparing food, they can be the one to heal not only

themselves, but their families.

It was with this mindset that I began integrating both into one, serving

women from pre-natal and beyond in nutrition.

I have since, completed a certification thru Institute of Integrative

Nutrition and American Association of Drugless Practioner’s as a

Holistic Health Coach and have been working with women to claim

their health and overcome their fears with food.

Women tend to raise our families on the food that we were fed as

children, and as our children grow, we become their short order cooks

taking care to feed only “what they will eat”. Substituting what once

was nutritious food to food that will have to do.

What has been the result of this kind of eating? More children with

ADD, ADHD, Autism, and G.I. disorders and the list goes on and on.

We also see many women suffering from chronic pain and

inflammation and uncontrollable weight gain.

This balanced approach to health, that many have ignored in favor of

quick weight loss now and unknown consequences for the future, has

assisted many to overcome the fear associated to eating, and

preparing real food.

I have assisted many to rid themselves of medications they have been on for years, and shed inches and pounds and so have members of their families! With added energy, mental clarity, decreased inflammation and loss of cravings.

This program teaches women that it is ok to eat, whole real food and eat to live.
