Corinna Graham, Neighbor

I am a recent graduate of Stonehill College, where I studied English and Film. I loved my time at Stonehill, and I especially enjoyed my job there as Copy Editor for the school newspaper, <i>The Summit</i>. Working at the newspaper sparked my passion for news reporting and writing.

While at Stonehill, I was also fortunate enough to have the opportunity to study abroad at St. Catherine’s College, which is one of the many colleges that make up Oxford University. During my time at Oxford, I got to experience what it is like to write every single day as if it is a full time job, and I found it so fulfilling!

The other major opportunity that Stonehill presented me with was the chance to work for WHDH-TV as an intern for the public affairs program called <i>Urban Update</i>. During my internship, I got to do all of the research, contact all of the guests, and write the entire script for one full episode of the program, which aired in August of 2010.

My experiences in classes at Stonehill and working for the newspaper, writing everyday in Oxford, and working for WHDH-TV have prompted me to further explore reporting and news writing. I’m excited about being able to pursue this passion at the Hingham Patch.
