Courtney Parker, Neighbor

Courtney Holmes Parker earned her Masters Degree in Marriage, Family and Couples Counseling, from Capella University. Continuing her academic career at Capella University, Courtney is completing her Doctor of Philosophy in Advanced Human Behavior. Courtney is a Resident Marriage and Family Therapist in the Commonwealth of Virginia, a <i>Psychology Today</i> approved professional, and a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. 

In 1981, Courtney was born in Chicago, Illinois. Just a few weeks later, she and her family moved to Reston, Virginia. During the 1980s and 1990s, Courtney lived in Reston, Virginia, El Segundo, California and Windlesham, England UK. After graduating from Langley HS, in McLean, Virginia, in 1999, Courtney moved to Delaware, Ohio, where she attended Ohio Wesleyan University. After graduating in 2003, with a Bachelors Degree in English, Theatre Arts and Black World Studies, Courtney moved back to Reston, Virginia, and has lived there ever since. 

Courtney is the proud mother of two children, who keep her very busy. If you see her driving around town, you can bet that she&#39;s dropping off or picking up! Courtney and her family spend much of their free time visiting friends and family in California, Florida, Illinois, and North Carolina. Her favorite vacation spots are Antigua, Cancun, Maui and Paris. Her idea of the perfect weekend would include seeing a show at the Kennedy Center, grabbing a treat from Georgetown Cupcake, and watching &#34;Good Luck Charlie&#34; on the Disney Channel with her children.
