Courtney Quinn Alane Sheehan was born in Minneapolis, MN. Her mother was a well-known and respected radio personality and journalist who also worked as a political consultant during her early years. Her father was a furniture salesman. She grew up in the ethnic melting pot of Northeast Minneapolis among working-class families, which formed a myriad of ethnic and racial diversity. This diversity has influenced her throughout her life and she takes pride in embodying the values of compassion, tolerance, and inclusivity in her work.

Courtney graduated from Edison Senior High School in Northeast Minneapolis in 2003. From there, she built a successful career as a self-employed Corporate Marketing Consultant, focusing on new consumer product launch with a territory that spanned five states at the height of her career. She proudly worked

in crafting innovative marketing campaigns for prominent household brand names.

Feeling like she wanted to make more of a difference in her life and her community, Courtney enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2010 and was trained as a Cybersecurity professional. She rose to the rank of Sergeant and rotated throughout three commands, her last assignment being Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. While on active duty, she earned her Bachelors of Science in Political Science, the first in her family to obtain a college degree. She left the Marine Corps in 2019 with an honorable discharge.

Currently, Courtney lives in Temecula, CA with her husband and daughter. She is enrolled in a post-graduate degree program in History and is campaigning for the Riverside County Board of Supervisors- third district. She is also the Founder and President of Progressive Veterans of Riverside County, a non-profit organization advocating for the rights of local veterans in her community.
