Operation Holiday

Christmas is coming, and many New Jersey families are hoping for help this year. You can bring Christmas home to a child and their family through Operation Holiday at Home®.
There are three ways to help:
Adopt a family. Choose a family, see their wish list, and make their Christmas happen. Adopt one family or several.
Use our Concierge Service. Perfect for businesses, teams, congregations and busy families. Tell us how many families you would like to adopt and what matters most to you, and we find and vet the families for you.
Donate. Every gift helps us bring Christmas to more children and families.

In August 2022, decades after Iran issued a fatwa calling for his death, world-renowned author Salman Rushdie was brutally attacked on stage in New York, stabbed 15 times before an audience.
Oscar-winning documentarian Alex Gibney delivers a defiant, deeply personal portrait of survival, recovery, and artistic courage. Drawing on Rushdie’s celebrated memoir and featuring never-before-seen, unflinching home footage captured by his wife, poet Rachel Eliza Griffiths, KNIFE traces Rushdie’s physical and spiritual rehabilitation after losing an eye and the use of a hand. Equal parts intimate love story and urgent defense of free speech, the film celebrates art as the ultimate instrument of resistance against censorship and terror.

Estate planning is way too important to neglect. Do not trust non-attorneys or online services to handle your estate plan – the consequences may be dire. The choice of a lawyer is an important decision and should not be based solely upon advertisements.

More about the Marching Dodgers
The Marching Dodgers have appeared in local parades in Madison, Morristown, Boonton and Millburn. The group has also performed on Main Street in Walt Disney World in Orlando, and will return there next May.
The Marching Dodgers have a rigorous schedule. In addition to practices during the week, the Marching Dodgers have a full performance schedule. They entertain at home games, and travel with the Madison Dodgers football team to away games to play as a pep band in the stands, supporting the team and rallying the fans. The band kicked off its competition season Saturday, Sept. 21st, at Hunterdon Central Regional High School and the season will run through the beginning of November.
The Marching Dodgers Booster Club and the Madison Marching Dodgers are inviting the public to come to the event on Sunday, October 4th, or another performance during the season to demonstrate support, and most importantly, enjoy the show.
