Dan is a life-long resident of Baltimore County and has resided in the Carney area for the past 25 years. Dan was raised in the southeast area of the county and spend also spent a few years living in the northwest area. He is a graduate of UMBC and Loyola. His past career, in banking, had him working in downtown Baltimore, Frederick and Bethesda. As such, Dan is a person who is intimately familiar with the Greater Baltimore region, which helps immensely in his real estate career.

Dan is active in his HOA and has volunteered with a number of organizations over the years, initially getting his feet wet in his local recreation and parks council. Dan capped his county recreation and parks volunteer efforts with a two year stint on the Board of Recreation and Parks.

The purpose of this blog is to help those looking for a home and those already in a home find out what's going on locally, regionally and nationally in real estate. Locally, people want to know how houses are selling in the 21234 zip code and regionally what is happening in the  greater Baltmore area. National housing trends, what banks are doing, the FHA, etc can have an impact on our local market. What is the current trend on mortgage rates? What programs are out there to assist me in purchase a home? What is causing interest rates to rise?
