I am a civic-minded Scientist, Experienced Community Leader and parent of 3 children in the school district.

Many of you are well aware of the challenges facing our school district, but I see them as amazing opportunities. We will be electing new board members that will hire the new superintendent that will carry the district forward over the next 8-10 years.

I will bring the invaluable collaborative problem solving, objective reasoning, and perseverance of a Ph.D. scientist. I will bring the resource management and budgeting skills of a trained Project Manager. With leadership experience on both PTA/Foundation and civic boards, I will bring the ethics, respectful consensus building and communication skills of leader with experiential diversity. I will bring all the passion for supporting high-quality public education that a first generation American and mother of three young children can provide.

All of these qualities will help me work with continuing board members to advance the mission and vision of our school district.
