Clinical psychologist David S. Weed, Psy. D. has been providing education and support for those following a low-carbohydrate lifestyle either for weight loss without hunger or to control or prevent Type II diabetes. These diets emphasize limiting foods containing carbohydrates such as bread, pasta, and starchy vegetables, as well as sweets of any type while allowing satisfying amounts of meat, eggs, nuts, cheese, non-starchy vegetables, butter and cream.
