Officers with the New Britain Police Department to host the 6th
Annual A.W. Stanley 5K to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut at A.W. Stanley Park located at 2159 Stanley Street, New Britain, CT, Saturday, June 13th, 2026. The run will begin at 9:00 AM and the one-mile walk will begin shortly afterwards.

All others to use street parking as well as Holmes Elementary School.

Officers with the Clinton Police Department will host a Tip-A-Cop event to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut at Aqua located at 34 Riverside Drive in Clinton on Thursday, June 16th between 12 PM and 9 PM.
During the event, law enforcement will volunteer their time to work with restaurant employees and welcome customers, take orders and serve meals to diners. All tips the officers receive will be dedicated to helping Special Olympics Connecticut provide life-changing sports, health, and fitness programs to athletes of all abilities. York Correctional Institution officers will conduct a coin drop fundraiser to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut athletes on Saturday, July 18th at the Rocky Neck Connector (outside of the entrance to the Rocky Neck State Park), from 7 am - 12 pm. During the event they'll be at the intersection to collect coins and cash to support Special Olympics' year-round sports, health, and fitness programs for athletes of all abilities.
