Families:

I am researching as a Community Coordinator for Council for Educational Travel USA (CETUSA) and I would like to have you read the attached 4 informational flyers and then let me know if you would be willing to work with me in placing international exchange high school students in the area high schools for the 2015-2016 academic year. "I am reaching out to you to encourage a lifelong journey of global peace and understanding". ((CETUSA) Mission Statement).

CETUSA offers families the opportunity to host a teenager from another country for a semester or academic year. By opening our heart and home you will take the first step toward helping to build a more understanding global community. In doing so you offer your family a unique experience which will positively impact your future. Benefits include:

. Cross-cultural experience, knowledge and understanding of another culture and language.

. A new family member; child, brother or sister.

. A renewed look at the American life-style as you share it with your new family member.

. The gift of loving a child from another country.

The host family is responsible for: Room and board, some transportation, guidance and assistance to your new family member helping them to adapt to the American lifestyle.

The student is responsible for: Sufficient command of the English language to succeed on the academic year, Sound academic history in their home country, a minimum of $250.00 monthly spending money, medical and accident insurance, successful level of maturity to complete the program and passport, travel documents and flight arrangements.

The process of finding a host family for the international exchange student takes time and I have a deadline of July 31, 2015.
