The <a href="https://marinirishfestival.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Marin Irish Festival</a> returns to Lagoon Park at the Marin County Fairgrounds on May 16–17, 2026, inviting the Bay Area to a joyful Beltane celebration of Irish music, dance, food, and tradition. Produced by Red Barn Productions, creators of The Great Dickens Christmas Fair and the original Renaissance Pleasure Faire, the festival offers a full weekend of performances, hands-on cultural experiences, and family-friendly fun rooted in Irish heritage.
Beltane, the ancient Celtic festival marking the arrival of summer, inspires a weekend filled with maypoles, lively tunes, and revelry. Festivalgoers can explore seven stage areas of live entertainment, featuring acclaimed Irish musicians, high-energy dance performances and competition, storytelling, and free children’s game area.
More than 40 craft vendors will offer handcrafted and rare goods, while food vendors serve classic Irish fare such as corned beef and cabbage, shepherd’s pie, fish and chips, and sweet treats, along with pints of Guinness, locally brewed ales, hard ciders, and soft drinks. Back by popular demand, the festival will once again host an authentic feis (pronounced fesh) - a fully sanctioned Irish dance competition in partnership with the Jackie Flynn Irish Dance Academy. The Ceílí on the Lake Championships (pronounced KAY-lee) brings dancers of all ages together to compete for the coveted Champion of Championstitle. Beyond music and dance, the festival offers immersive cultural experiences, including:

Guests will have the opportunity to meet these majestic raptors up close, with the option to hold them and take photos in exchange for a suggested donation.</li><li>Irish language workshops: Learn basic phrases and a poem or song (or two) at the Poet’s Corner.</li></ul>

An Expansive Marketplace &amp; Two Irish Pubs
The festival marketplace showcases Irish craftsmanship, including jewelry, textiles, ceramics, artwork, and traditional goods. Returning favorites include the Bearded Goose Irish Pub, joined this year by a second pub, The Gander, offering even more space to enjoy drinks, music, and camaraderie.

Riding momentum from national radio airplay and climbing the Top 50 Americana and AAA Singles charts, <a href="https://www.wrecklessstrangers.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Wreckless Strangers</a>&nbsp;continue their album release celebration with a series of San Francisco Bay Area performances. Newly added to the lineup is a show at the historic Smiley’s Saloon&nbsp;in Bolinas on May 30, alongside upcoming appearances at Lucca Bar &amp; Grill in Benicia, the Golden Gate Park Bandshell, and a benefit for the Challenged Athletes Foundation in San Francisco.
Wreckless Strangers return to their roots with their brand new studio album, Dirty Souls. The six-song collection marks the band’s rawest and most visceral effort to date—a modern take on the arena rock of the ’70s and ’80s that shaped their earliest musical influences. The first single, "<a href="https://vyd.co/WrecklessStrangersDirtySoul" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Dirty Soul</a>,"&nbsp;released January 23, is receiving national airplay and is available on major&nbsp;streaming platforms. The <a href="https://vyd.co/DirtySouls" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">full album</a>&nbsp;dropped on March 27.

Wreckless Strangers is a collective of friends and musicians carrying the torch for San Francisco’s grand rock ‘n’ roll tradition. Their unique blend of “Ameri-Cali Soul” melds the contemporary blues stylings of Bonnie Raitt and Boz Scaggs; the songwriting sensibilities of Sons of Champlin and Fleetwood Mac; the swashbuckling Americana of the Lost Planet Airmen and Peter Rowan; and the funk of Sly Stone and Tower of Power with a dash of Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane for flavor and unpredictability. With soaring vocal harmonies and burning instrumental improvisation, framed by concise, poignant original songwriting, Wreckless Strangers seek to honor and carry forth the brand of free-spirited musical fun and adventure that defines the Bay Area.&nbsp;
