I have been a student of wine since I was old enough to pull a cork. A 35 year veteran to the hospitality industry I have worked every position in a restaurant that one can imagine. For six years I was Sommelier for the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Naples Florida where I was able to taste some of the noblest wines in the world and hone my skills. Over the years I have shared my knowledge through a popular series of public educational seminars on wine and spirits. In 2011 I passed the Certified Sommeliers exam through the Court of Master Sommeliers putting title to my years of study. I started the Dolce Drinks blog to share my knowledge on wine and spirits. It took me far beyond original expectations, weaving in and out of wine, spirits, craft cocktails, beers and all “Liquid Assets”. Within the pages of Dolce Drinks I hope you will find something that pleases your tastes. This year I start a new chapter in my career, in retail, as Wine Director of The Madison Wine Exchange in Madison Ct. Wine continues to be an important part of my life and constant study.
