Friday, June 19, 2026 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM The lawn at Waveny Park, New Canaan, CT&nbsp; FREE &amp; Open to All - Rain or Shine! Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865 — the day the last enslaved Americans finally received news of their freedom. First celebrated in 1866, this powerful tradition now marks 160 years of history, resilience, and progress. This year, we are especially honored to be part of New Canaan’s official America 250th Anniversary celebrations. All are welcome from near and far! Free to attend but registration is requested so we have enough supplies.&nbsp; Link in "More Info" tab above.&nbsp; (Drop ins also welcome!) Enjoy an afternoon in a beautiful setting outside of the majestic historical Waveny House filled with:
