Kick off the summer antiques show season on Saturday, June 6, 2026, 9 - 3, at the 4th Annual Fox Valley at the Fairgrounds Antiques Show in Wheaton, Illinois. Dealers from 7 states will gather under one roof to present the best of Americana. This show was held for many decades at the Kane County Fairgrounds in St. Charles. The DuPage Event Center &amp; Fairgrounds is now their 'forever' home. Free parking. Good food and plenty of comfortable seating. ATM. Admission of $10 benefits historical preservation projects. Under 15 free.

About Maxwell Street Klezmer Band:&nbsp;
Founded in 1983 by Lori Lippitz, Maxwell Street Klezmer Band has played at Carnegie Hall, toured Europe, and provided the soundtrack for Chicagoland’s Jewish celebrations for over 4 decades. The band marked its 40th “Bandiversary” at The Old Town School of Folk Music in 2023. The group is releasing a new live album as well as an educational band book series in 2026.&nbsp;

The 2026 Ragdale Ring Summer Performance Series kicks off on June 20 with a world premiere dance performance of Circle of Apathy by Chicago-based dance ensemble House of DOV and soul-funk music collective Family Junket.&nbsp;Set in and around the award-winning "Ragdale Ring" created by Virginia-based design studio Gluten, Circle of Apathy is a site-specific outdoor performance on Ragdale's historic campus. Attendees are welcome to arrive early for a picnic on the lawn and explore the grounds.

Enjoy a special time out at Ragdale's Family Day!

Fun for everyone, the day's program includes performances of the comedy show Well-Balanced Dads, the world premiere of Circle of Apathy by Chicago-based dance group House of DOV, live music by Family Junket, crafts with Ishti Collective, and more. Picnicking on campus is permitted, and touring Ragdale's historic grounds is encouraged.

The program is part of the Ragdale Ring Summer Performance Series kick-off June 20-21 and is part of the celebration of Ragdale's 50th anniversary.
