Parallax Modern, a contemporary art gallery in Chesterfield, New Jersey, will present Earth/Sky and in Between, a group exhibition bringing together nine artists whose diverse practices explore perception, place, memory, abstraction, and the human experience.The exhibition features artists from New Jersey and Pennsylvania and reflects Parallax Modern’s commitment to presenting compelling contemporary work from the region. <ul><li>Geoff Hindle&nbsp;presents moody, spectral Polaroid transfers that transform familiar imagery into atmospheric and elusive visions.</li><li>Joel Adas&nbsp;brings a vivid neon palette to his gouache paintings, creating energetic compositions that balance color, gesture, and abstraction.</li><li>John Hubbard&nbsp;creates ethereal, cloud-like abstractions that evoke shifting atmospheric and emotional landscapes.</li><li>Brenda Howell&nbsp;combines expressive visual forms with text and encaustic, creating works in which language becomes both image and message.</li><li>Mitzi Miraflor&nbsp;explores the urban landscape through photography of Belfast, capturing the character of the city.</li><li>Scott Rosenthal&nbsp;turns his camera toward Philadelphia, offering distinctive photographic perspectives on the city's evolving urban environment.</li><li>Jeff Evans&nbsp;creates intriguing figurative paintings with a collage-like sensibility, layering imagery to produce complex and psychologically charged compositions.</li><li>Laura Lyn Stern&nbsp;presents contemporary ceramic reliefs that emphasize texture, dimensionality, and the physical possibilities of clay.</li><li>Karen Brown&nbsp;presents illuminated photographic works that combine archival imagery, acrylic, light, and surface intervention.</li></ul>
Together, the artists create a conversation between the recognizable and the abstract, the physical and the ephemeral, and the seen and the concealed.

The Bailey Basketball Academy(BBA)&nbsp;announced&nbsp;today the&nbsp;fall&nbsp;schedule for&nbsp;upcoming&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;hoops program.&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;is considered the premiere&nbsp;player development basketball program in Central Jersey and is led by&nbsp;former PDS Girl's coach and Philadelphia 76'er International Camps&nbsp;Clinician, Kamau Bailey. Coach Bailey, a former NYU graduate and player, was&nbsp;a Colorado High School All State and McDonald's All American and is a&nbsp;quality coach and teacher of the game. He is sought after as a speaker and&nbsp;hoop instructor. The&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;Fall&nbsp;program will offer parents and players the opportunity&nbsp;for&nbsp;competitive boys travel teams(3rd-10th grade), weekly practices, Shot King Shooting Instruction, player development skill sessions for kindergarten through high school players(boys &amp; girls). The&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;programs stress fundamentals and team play with emphasis on ball handling, shooting, passing, footwork, speed, agility, movement with and without the ball, one on one moves, defense and various other basketball-related skills.
 The&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;Fall&nbsp;Skill Development&nbsp;Sessions for boys and girls are held every Monday and Wednesday&nbsp;and begins Monday, September 17th and Wednesday, September 9th&nbsp;with&nbsp;Grades 3-6: 6:00pm to 7:15pm and Grades 7-10: 7:15pm to 8:30pm thru mid - November. In addition, BBA will offer&nbsp;First Hoops Skill Development Sessions for boys and girls, grades K-2 on Friday evenings between 6:00pm to 7:00pm.
 The&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;Competitive Boys Program&nbsp;for interested&nbsp;players and parents begins practice&nbsp; on&nbsp;Tuesday, September 8th and Thursday, September 10th for&nbsp;Grades 3-6: 6:00 to 7:15 pm and Grades 7-10: 7:15 to 8:30 pm) thru mid - November.&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;teams will play games on weekends in the Multi Sports&nbsp;Kingdom Mid-Jersey Basketball&nbsp;League.&nbsp;
 All&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;hoop activities will be held at the Princeton Middle School, 217 Walnut Lane or at the BBA practice court,&nbsp;3752 Highway #27.
