Professor Larney, Neighbor

During a 40 year career in corporate finance and investment banking Dennis Larney served in officer level positions at GE Capital and Chase Manhattan Bank while obtaining an MBA from NYU and a separate financial executive award from Harvard University. After retirement he was recruited by government agencies, USAID and IESC to visit Russia and several other Eastern European countries to train them on banking, secured lending and capital markets. After consulting for several years he assisted in setting up a business training center in St Petersburg Russia. Inspired by the experiences in setting up the school, upon return home he decided to dedicate his efforts to career and technical education. He proceeded to obtain an MA in Career & Technical Studies at CSUSB. He was subsequently retained by CSUSB as a professor and coordinator of the CTS program at Palm Desert.
