The Allegra School of Music and Arts is Hillsborough's most innovative and oldest music and arts education facility serving the families of Hillsborough, Montogomery and the surrounding areas for greater than 20 years. We are distinguished by our exceptional care for the well-being of our students and our community as a whole. Founded in 1999 by Donnetta Johnson, a longtime resident, and mother of three boys, the school has educated thousands of students in the art of confidence through music, theater, and creative expression. We are the founder of the Hillsborough Music Festival created in 2009 to provide a platform for the amazing talent that lives in this special community. All funds raised go towards youth suicide prevention in our community.
