DUNEDIN, FL — Sherwood Forest is coming to Downtown Dunedin!

Progressive Arts Theater invites families throughout Tampa Bay to experience Robin Hood &amp; Little John, an original, interactive outdoor production written by Artistic Director Kirsten Stiff-Walker, presented as part of ProArts’ beloved Theater in the Park tradition.

On Sunday, October 4 at 2:00 PM, Pioneer Park will transform into Sherwood Forest as Robin Hood, Little John, Maid Marian, Kat, and a colorful collection of characters bring this classic adventure to life — with plenty of humor, action and opportunities for the audience to become part of the story.

And best of all, general admission is completely FREE, with reserved seating tickets also available for guests who want to guarantee their spot!

Families are invited to bring lawn chairs or blankets, find a spot in the park and enjoy an afternoon of live theater in the heart of Downtown Dunedin.

Progressive Arts Theater is a nonprofit performing arts organization committed to creating inclusive theatrical opportunities for performers of all abilities. ProArts brings neurodivergent and neurotypical performers together on the same stage, creating productions where every performer has the opportunity to participate, grow and shine.

For guests who would like to support ProArts while reserving their space, two upgraded seating options are available:

Sherwood Forest Supporter — $15
A reserved, roped-off seating area. Guests bring their own chairs, and ProArts saves their spot.

VIP Shaded Comfort Zone — $20
A reserved shaded area featuring low lounger pods, with guests also welcome to bring their favorite chair.

Proceeds from reserved seating help support Progressive Arts Theater productions and scholarship opportunities, allowing the nonprofit to continue providing inclusive theater experiences throughout the community.
