Dr. Ann Herschl Cirillo graduated from the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. After completing a one year internship in anesthesiology, she joined both an equine practice and a small animal practice for the following year. She became an exclusively small animal practitioner in 1992. Dr. Herschl (Cirillo) enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine including a special interest in companion animal dentistry.

She and her husband John spend their spare time supervising their two younger teenagers since once JUST started driving, and they are both involved in numerous activities including competitive cheerleading, pole vault, track and field, and cross country. Of their two older children, one just graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and is starting her masters degree this fall, and the other just finished her freshman year at Pitt.

Dr. Ann decided to become a veterinarian at a very young age and followed her dream to reality. She considers herself blessed to be able to do what she loves, and not only take care of the animal patients, but their owners as well. She attends many community activities including events sponsored by the Susan G. Komen foundation, Western Pennsylvania Humane Society, Animal Friends, community days and home shows, and Hello Bully!
