Dylan Lowe, Neighbor

Dylan Lowe is the co-founder of Somabar, based in Los Angeles, California. Dylan’s interest in industrial automation started while he was a political science student at Occidental College.

In 2015, Dylan and co-founder created a Kickstarter and raised $300,000 to begin production of the first units of Somabar. The invention went on to win a variety of awards including “Best Product of the Year” at the Western Foodservice Show and “Best Appliance of the Year” at CES.

Somabar is an automated bartending assistant built for the restaurant and hospitality industries that is easy to use and self-cleaning. A waiter or guest will select a drink from a menu of 1000+ cocktails, Somabar will then create the selected drink in 10 seconds. At the end of a shift, Somabar automatically cleans itself. This all-in-one solution has helped small restaurants to Fortune 500 companies enjoy bartending service where it was not previously possible.
