'MY RECOVERY BUDDY'' was founded in February 2014. Since our inception, we are very proud to say, that we have crafted and placed, over 950 BUDDIES into waiting arms of people all over the world in recovery.

A 'MY RECOVERY BUDDY' is small,softly stuffed, friendly, knitted/crocheted 'pillow' with arms, legs. and features.

BUDDIES 'love' hugs, they are excellent at 'listening' to problems, and they are great at giving emotional support.

The people who request/receive a MY RECOVERY BUDDY, maybe fighting battles with many different issues: addictions, disorders, life threatening diseases such as cancer, recovering from traumas, struggling with chronic medical or mental illness and abuse. Sometimes we get requests from people grieving the loss of a loved one or child, or sometimes even from exhausted caregivers who need some love and support of their own.

We hope through the distribution of our BUDDIES, to remind people that they do not have to be alone in their Recovery or their challenges - that there really are people out there who care about them, and the struggles they are going through.
