Join Rip Van Winkle and a spirited bunch of townies as they write their own version of the American Revolution! Get ready for Impossible But True! This rollicking evening of immersive theater and song is back--brought to you by Brooklyn Tavern Theater.

It's 1775 and word of the coming American Revolution arrives in a small village in the Catskills—but is it possible? Or just a crazy idea?

Loosely following the story of Rip Van Winkle, a troupe of 9 actors and a pianist take us on a journey through the American Revolution seen from the point of view of Rip's village. There will be war, ghostly explorers, gnomes, flip and much more. Join us!

Come early at 6:45-7:25pm (2:15-2:55 for Sunday matinee) to the Old Stone House for a free sample of FLIP--the most popular tavern drink in the colonies! Our flipmaster Dr. Kim will be set up at the Old Stone Oven to the right of the museum entrance.

Offerings about American History feature prominent writers and educators. Free horticulture and birding workshops teach guests about native plants and wildlife. Family-friendly concerts draw hundreds for old-fashioned fun and unplugged enjoyment. The site is a member of NY State's Path Through History and Westchester County's African American Heritage Trail. Zankel Hall

Experience a remarkable musical rediscovery at Carnegie Hall.
On Thursday, November 12 at 7:30 PM, Jason Tramm and the MidAtlantic Philharmonic Orchestra present the world premiere of Teodor Doré’s new orchestration of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Suite in D Minor.
Composed in 1891 while Rachmaninoff was a student at the Moscow Conservatory, the Suite survives through a piano manuscript; its original orchestral score remains missing. Doré’s new orchestration, created with the endorsement of the Rachmaninoff family, offers a rare opportunity to hear this early work brought to life by a full orchestra.
Presented by Renaissance-21, the evening celebrates the movement’s American launch with a program combining classical favorites and contemporary premieres, including Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1 and Rachmaninoff’s beloved Vocalise.
Tramm returns for his third Carnegie Hall performance, joined by guest conductor Olsi Qinami and an international roster of featured artists.
Join us for an evening of musical discovery in Zankel Hall.
Thursday, November 12, 2026 | 7:30 PM Carnegie Hall — Zankel Hall 881 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY 10019
