Acme Theater

A madcap comedic farce set in the Silver Crest Manor, a once-respected nursing home besieged by all manner of chaos. While a violent thunderstorm rages outside, inside a drug dealer is on the loose, an escaped mental patient is hunted by the police, and a trio of scheming scoundrels spin a web of identity theft and deception. As patients mysteriously vanish and impostors emerge, the confusion-and hilarity escalates through mistaken identities, double-dealing, and surprise twists. Hold onto your walkers: Losing Patients blends outrageous physical comedy with unexpected plot turns right up to its surprise finish.

<a href="https://lexingtoncommunityed.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Revolutionary-WarPatriots-of-Color.pdf" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Revolutionary WarPatriots of Color</a>As we celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary it is important to consider the diverse peoples and communities that contributed to the Revolutionary cause. Dr. Benjamin Remillard will discuss the role of New England’s people of color in the Revolution, what drew them to the Patriot or Loyalist causes, as well as what life was like for them and their communities after the war as the new nation struggled to find its footing.Benjamin Remillard is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of History and Classics at Providence College. He recently received his Ph.D. in History from the University of New Hampshire and his current book project, Friends, Brothers, and Citizens: The Revolutionary War Veterans of Color Who Shaped the Early Republic, explores the lives of the Revolution’s veterans and non-veteran Patriots of color who lived across the Northeast during the early American republic.
