<strong>What I am:</strong> a recoving disordered-eater (binger), self-love warrior, new(ish) mom, new(er) wife, pasta lover, wanna-be runner, a compulsive organizer, and technology/gadget junkie.

I&#39;m a healthy-living blogger over at Fit and Free Emily. It is a mission. My mission. After 20&#43; years of being overweight (read : obese) I&#39;m tackling both the physical and mental aspects of getting healthy. It has to start with self-love and a lot of hard work. I&#39;m currently 50lbs down, and not looking back.

Here at The Patch I write a Iowa City focused look on weight loss. I&#39;ll be exploring a lot of local resources, resturants, companies, and topics that directly affect our community. I&#39;ll also probably talk about pizza. Like, a lot.
