<ul><li><b>Event:</b> Official USSA Sanctioned Steinholding Competition</li><li><b>Date/ Time:</b> Next Wednesday at 7pm</li><li><b>Location:</b> Selma's Chicago Pizzeria &amp; Tap Room, Rancho Santa Margarita</li><li><b>Prizes:</b> An Official Oktoberfest Porcelain Stein and a restaurant gift card for the winner.</li><li><b>The Ultimate Stakes:</b> The competitor with the longest hold time across all three locations gets the opportunity to advance and compete at the USSA Nationals tournament!</li></ul>
<h3>Quick Rules Refresher for Competitors:</h3>
<ul><li><b>The Stein:</b> Must be held out straight in front of the body, parallel to the ground, with a completely unbent elbow.<button>Peaceful Side Social</button></li><li><b>The Grip:</b> Must hold the handle with a closed fist—no thumbs resting on top, and no off-hands providing support.<button>US Steinholding Association</button></li><li><b>Zero Spillage:</b> Any liquid spilling or dripping over the edge means immediate disqualification, so hold steady!<button>Peaceful Side Social</button></li></ul>
<p>Spread the word, invite your friends, and let's pack the taproom for a great night. Are you planning to jump in and defend the house, or will you be running the sidelines as a judge and hype-man?</p><p>P.S. If you can't make RSM on Wednesday, we will also be hosting a Steinholding contest at Ladera Ranch and San Juan Capistrano the very next day on Thursday evening. </p>

<p>The Festival Singers of Orange County,&nbsp;a premier community SATB chorus invites singers who are passionate about making beautiful music to join us for our 2026-27 season. We sing a variety of musical styles&mdash;from Classical to Musical Theatre and Jazz; and we supply resources for home practice. Rehearsals are held every Tuesday, 7:30 - 9:15 PM at St. John's Episcopal Church, 30382 Via Con Dios, Rancho Santa Margarita.&nbsp;</p>
<p>New singers may join us any Tuesday, September 8 through 29. No formal audition required. Please come early to introduce yourself.
