Craving a real reset? Join a monthly sound bath at Northbrae Community Church in Berkeley, featuring 2–3 live musicians playing crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, gong, handpans, guzheng, guitar, drums, and Koshi bells — all under the church's stunning stained-glass windows.
Led by certified mindfulness teacher Erica Skone-Rees with musician Bryce Mulholland, each session opens with a short guided meditation, then flows into a live, immersive soundscape designed to shift your brain into a deeply restorative state. Research links sound bath practices to lower cortisol, reduced anxiety, better sleep, and improved heart rate variability — so this isn't just relaxing, it's backed by real physiology.
When: 2nd Thursday of every month, 7:30–9:00 PM (next up: August 13th) 
Where: Northbrae Community Church, Berkeley, CA 
What to bring: A mat or pad, blanket/pillow, eye mask, and warm layers — come dressed to get cozy and lie down
