Libby Pataki, Neighbor

In 2012 Libby Pataki was appointed as the Tourism Director for Putnam County. Libby set policy initiatives in place including a retooled website, Facebook and Twitter upgrades; a new County-wide tourism map; collaboration with a filming company to produce a historical documentary of Putnam County in our Bicentennial year, among others. Support of large County-wide events include the creation of the Putnam Cycling Classic, attracting visitors and bicyclists from the entire region and beyond while maintaining the historic routes and programming of the traditional race. Efforts are being made to attract day-trippers who will return repeatedly to a County which offers spectacular outdoor recreational opportunities for golfers, hikers, boaters, campers, riders and cyclists among others.
