Sing in the choir! Like singing pop, folk, gospel, bluegrass, or classical? Unsure of your music-reading skills? Our schedule describes the style and difficulty of all our anthems, and includes sheet music and recordings to help you learn. Pick a song from our schedule that you'd like to sing and join us that Sunday at 9 AM to rehearse before the 10 AM service. No ongoing commitment needed.

We blend scripture, prayer, music, and positive, inspirational, intelligent messages to sustain us on our faith journey. The service lasts about an hour, with fellowship afterward.Please join us!

Albert&nbsp;Sammons, Jr. returns as the guest vocalist for our worship service.&nbsp;Albert has been singing for over 60 years. He is a bass-baritone with a&nbsp;love for singing Negro/Black spirituals. Albert says, “I’m honored to&nbsp;be asked to sing at Foothills. I’m a chorister at heart. Singing is my&nbsp;joy.”

On May 24 we welcome back BoAi Chorus as our guest choir providing their beautiful music for our worship service.BoAi&nbsp;Chorus, founded in 1991, began as a group of parents seeking quality&nbsp;time while waiting for their children at a local Chinese school on&nbsp;Saturday mornings. Today, although the children have long since finished&nbsp;their Chinese school, the Saturday morning recitals continue as part of&nbsp;the chorus’s legacy. BoAi has grown to include over 50 members, in a&nbsp;wide range of ages. Most members are Chinese-American, with roots in&nbsp;Taiwan, China, and Southeast Asia. Most have a basic knowledge of music&nbsp;theory and read music. The chorus holds weekly recitals every Saturday&nbsp;morning at Foothills Congregational Church in Los Altos, except on&nbsp;holidays. Performances are mostly in SATB four-part harmony, with&nbsp;occasional smaller ensembles. BoAi gives large-scale performances every&nbsp;2-3 years, and presents 2-3 smaller public performances each year.

On Saturday, June 6, Foothills Church is hosting End of Life, Explained a&nbsp;community forum offering clear, compassionate guidance on hospice care,&nbsp;spiritual support, and California’s End of Life Option Act.
Featuring&nbsp;a physician, a hospital chaplain, and a pastor specializing in grief&nbsp;and ethics, this event is designed to answer real questions in a&nbsp;thoughtful, grounded way.
