Dr. Fran NELSON for RIH Board of Education, Neighbor

I've spent the past 15 years working with students of all ages. This broad experience gives me a unique perspective into the education needs of our young students. As an adjunct at both Villanova and William Paterson Universities, I've been part of the transition from High School to College and witnessed the degree of preparation high school students need to succeed in the college environment.

Additionally, I've spent the last 10 years at Students 2 Science, a not-for-profit organization. I've designed, implemented and taught novel hands-on science programs for students in 5th through 12th grades.

I'm well-versed in the needs of our students, having been in classrooms throughout New Jersey and engaging with students of all levels. Additionally, I have two teenage children, one a recent graduate and the other currently a senior of Ramapo High School.
