On Tuesday, October 27th, photographer Alan Brown explores the creative evolution of Intentional Camera Movement (ICM). Gateway Camera Club invites you to join us for Alan’s ‘moving’ presentation at 7:00pm at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 3 Maple Street, Framingham, MA.
Alan will trace ICM from its traditional experimental roots to more refined and deliberate approaches. Drawing on years of practice and experimentation, he will demonstrate how ICM can move beyond chance-based results to become a mindful and controlled creative process.
Alan said, “Photography, for me, is about exploration rather than rules, where creativity is guided by intention rather than convention.”
Illustrated with examples from Alan’s own work, the presentation encourages photographers of all levels to slow down, observe more carefully, and embrace a more conscious approach to creating images through camera movement.
You can learn more about Alan’s work at alanbrownphotography.com/

Join us for True to Your Heart with Resident Minister Aiden McMahon. It is good to be reminded where we come from. Universalism is not some chic claim meant to be inoffensively warm and fuzzy, but rather a radical theological conviction. In this season of storytelling, let us look back into our past and see what it might have to say to our present. Please join us in-person or online.
