Frank Shyong, Neighbor

Frank Shyong is a freelance journalist based on Santa Monica. He studied economics at UCLA, but spent most of his time at the office of the Daily Bruin, where he covered news and A&E, wrote opinion columns and editorials and copy edited. 

Frank has also covered business, real estate, and politics for the Nashville City Paper and NashvillePost.com in his hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. Most recently, he reported on entertainment and the nightlife for the Taipei Times and Entertainment Weekly.

Frank is a member of the Asian American Journalists Association.
