Join local historian and trail expert Jim Mundy and explore the history woven into every corner of the trail on this fall Heritage Walk. We'll meet at Cynwyd Station Trailhead (321 Conshohocken State Road, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004) and walk along the trail for about 1.5 miles. Light refreshments will be provided at the midpoint of the walk. Please leave furry friends and young children at home so we can keep our group focused and moving at a steady pace.

Parking is available at the Cynwyd Station Trailhead, but note that the walk ends at the Manayunk Bridge and participants will be responsible for their journey from there.

Navigating through life’s transitions—whether you’re embarking on some spring time downsizing, moving, or settling an estate—can be challenging, especially when it involves parting with personal belongings or the estate of a loved one. At Alderfer Auction, we understand the emotional and logistical complexities of organizing an estate sale. Our compassionate and professional team is here to guide you through every step, ensuring a respectful and efficient process that honors your needs and those of your loved ones.
Why Choose Alderfer Auction for Your Estate Sale Needs?
Alderfer Auction stands out in the estate sale market for our empathetic approach and our commitment to delivering exceptional service. We are experts in managing estate sales with the utmost respect and dignity, ensuring that every item is handled with care. Our services are designed to remove the burden from families during transitions or difficult times, making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Our estate sale services are structured around a clear, straightforward process that provides peace-of-mind and ease of execution. Here are the current five easy steps we follow to ensure a successful estate sale:
1. Cataloging On-Site: Our Estate Sales Team sorts, describes & photographs your home contents into an online auction catalog.
2. Marketing: The Alderfer Auction Marketing Team advertises your auction to a global audience through our bidding platform, mobile app, online marketing, email & social media platforms.
3. Selling/Online Auction: The auction is open for online bidding 10-14 days prior to closing, which boosts competitive bidding and leads to the highest fair market value for your personal property.
4. Supervised Pick-up: After the auction closes, we supervise and assist buyers on Pick-up Day in order to minimize foot traffic through your home.
5. Consigner Payment: 21 business days following the auction, we will send you a check of your auction proceeds.
