Gary Lee Thomas, Neighbor

Gary Thomas is a Navy Brat and proud son of a U.S. Naval Officer and Vietnam Veteran. Gary grew up on the West Coast. He is a dad to six wonderful children: 5 boys and 1 girl! He transplanted from the San Francisco Bay Area to Northern Virginia in 1997 and raised his family in Reston, VA. He’s an engineer and technical management professional with the Department of Defense. Gary graduated with a BS in Electrical Engineering from GMU in 2004, and earned his MS in Applied Intelligence from Mercyhurst University in 2024. Gary is presently in the Accelerated Masters Program in Systems Engineering in UVA, which is based out of Fairfax, VA. Gary served as the Chapter President for International Council of Systems Engineers (INCOSE) for the Washington Metro Area (WMA) in 2024.
