Santa Monica Bay Audubon Society (SMBAS) - Welcome! We are the local chapter of the National Audubon Society. Our territory goes along the Pacific Coast of Los Angeles County through Manhattan Beach, El Segundo, Playa del Rey, Marina del Rey, Venice, Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades and Malibu.

Mission Statement: The National Audubon Society's Mission is to conserve and restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds and wildlife for the benefit of humanity and the earth's biological diversity. As part of this, our chapter's particular mission is to be a source for wildlife education, habitat protection, and conservation issues that involve birds.
