The Performing Arts Studio 224 E. Main St. Port Jefferson, NY

Get ready for an evening of laughs, surprises, and real stories that may or may not include subtle little lies. This show is a game wrapped in a storytelling show, with a line-up of awesome storytellers sharing about a true experience on the theme AMBITION. It has everything: comedy, connection and prizes, if you can believe something like that (you totally can!) It’s casual, fun, and a perfect way to spend your night surrounded by good vibes and great stories. Don’t miss out on the (mostly) TRUE THINGS that’ll keep you hooked till the last word!
STORIES BY: ADAM GRUNDFAST attorney, educator, camp director, business development expert, storyteller. He was a featured storyteller in Stories Untold at Sid Jacobson JCC and How Was It at Q.E.D. in Astoria.
SASHA PINCUS, Art Therapist, Death Doula who returns to tell another story in (mostly) TRUE THINGS
CALVIN CATO, comedian who performs in a club or theater every night of the week in the New York area, with credits including RISK! The Story Collider, Adult Spelling Bee at Q.E.D. and so many more. TimeOut NY chose Calvin as a queer comic of color to watch!
SHARI HAZLETT is a director-actor with Living Radio, a monthly live show and podcast recording that presents brand-new, scripted radio plays inspired by today’s headlines. She's performed with Magnet Theater’s house sketch team Breakfast Martini, the all-women improv trio Clover, and the ghost story-inspired improv ensemble Spooky Doings. Shari performs at Magnet Theater, Brooklyn Comedy Collective, the RAT, UCB, Caveat, Under St Marks, Dixon Place, La Mama, and the Tank.
JUDE TREDER-WOLFF (host) is a storyteller, comedian, singer/songwriter, and improviser performing in shows on Long Island, NYC, and around the country. (mostly) TRUE THINGS is a game wrapped in a storytelling show, featuring true stories told by comedy-wrangling, heartstrings-pulling storytellers from all walks of life, some award-winning professionals, some who are new to the stage but have a great story to tell. The game is this: all but one of the storytellers include subtle little lies into their story. In Act 2, the audience gets to question the storytellers then votes for the person they think told their story with no lies. Some improvised, story-inspired music and songs written for the show by host/creator <a href="https://www.judetrederwolff.com" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Jude Treder-Wolff</a>are additional ingredients for a high-energy, hilarious, emotion-packed and entertaining show.
