The Grayslake Colts is a non-profit, youth travel tackle football, cheer & dance program providing instruction for athletes in grades K – 8. We are a proud affiliate of the Grayslake Park District and a partner with the GNHS and GCHS football, cheer and dance programs. We have been an integral part of the Grayslake community for over 40 years, and voted the “best run organization” every year since 2008 by the TCYFL (The Chicagoland Youth Football League). We are a proud member of the TCYFL and IRCA.

Our mission is clear: We will support youth athletes by providing guidance, coaching, assistance, mentoring, uniforms, equipment & acessories that provide the utmost safety, instilling at all times a spirit of good sportsmanship and carrying out our duties with honor and integrity.

Our 2016 season runs from July – November. Our home games are played at Aquatic Field and Grayslake Central High School.

Your child's safety is our number one priority. All of our Board Members, Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Team Coordinators must successfully pass a required background check before being allowed to work with our athletes. Our background check process is one of the most rigorous used in youth sports and checks nationwide registries and records, identifying all misdemeanors, felonies & sex offenders and criminal records (local, county and national) as well as provides SSN, birthdate and address verification.

We are a 100% volunteer run organization, and without our self-less community volunteers and sponsors, our program would not be possible. It is an honor and privilege to work with your children, and we thank you for the trust you've placed in us.
