I was born in 1963 and have been writing professionally since 1986. I started blogging in 2004 about sports, and added non-sports topics to my repertoire in 2009.

I am married to a lovely woman and I'm the proud father of a high school senior (as of Sept. 2011!!)

I have been following and/or covering Detroit sports since 1970.
