MCBC, Neighbor

The MCBC is a non-profit organization that has produced superior ballet productions since 1989. It is the professional affiliate company of the Geiger Classic Ballet Academy (GCBA) now located in West Bloomfield, Michigan. At GCBA, dancers from the ages of eight to seventeen undergo a traditional, highly disciplined study of ballet instruction. GCBA director Mary Celeste Geiger established the school in 1985 and has also led MCBC as its artistic director since the company’s founding. The MCBC continues to bring the artistry of ballet and the excellence of their productions to metro Detroit.
