We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we have not just one, but four talented Bakers who will be lending their skills and creativity to our Bake stand this year. 

Their diverse baking styles and expertise will surely elevate our offerings and provide a delightful experience for everyone who visits. Each Baker brings something unique to the stand ensuring that our selection will be both varied and delicious.


Mark your calendars because we will officially open our Bake stand at 10 AM on the 4th of April. This date is fast approaching, and we are eagerly preparing for what promises to be an exciting day filled with mouthwatering treats and joyful interactions with our community. 

We can’t wait to welcome everyone and share our passion for baking!

 We rely on this stand to help us raise funds and awareness to the Medically and Homebound confined Veteran 

This year, we are particularly excited to share that a local farmer has generously agreed to donate fresh eggs for our Bake stand! This addition will not only enhance the quality of our baked goods but also support local agriculture.. 

 We are hopeful that we will have some of these fresh eggs available for our opening day. However, we must keep in mind that chickens undergo a natural process known as molting, during which they may stop laying eggs temporarily. This phase often occurs in the fall, and as spring approaches, we are crossing our fingers that the hens will resume laying in time for our event. So, let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope for a bountiful supply of eggs! 🙏🏻

In addition to the potential egg contribution, we are excited to announce that our menu will feature a variety of delectable items.

 We will have scrumptious Carrot Cakes and rich Pumpkin Cakes, along with a couple of other delightful cake options that are sure to please the palate. Moreover, our selection will also include freshly baked breads, a variety of cookies, and delicious pies, each crafted with care and attention to detail.

To complement these baked goods, we will also offer seasoning herbs, perfect for enhancing your culinary creations at home. 
And let’s not forget about skincare products! We believe in holistic wellness, and our skincare offerings will reflect that philosophy. Theresa Phillips Is a Certified Skincare Formulator and DONATES to Be A Hero To A Hero Proceeds. Theresa Was at thePainted Tree in Bloomingdale and it closed So she will have a small tent with products for you to try&nbsp;

The excitement is building, and we can’t wait to see what other orders come in as we get closer to the opening date. Each order represents not just a sale, but a connection with our community and a chance to share our love for baking.

Go FLY A KITE KITE FESTIVAL 

The GO FLY A KITE KITE FESTIVAL sponsored by the Wheaton Park District, Gift of Wings and Giftofwings.com, and the Wheaton Eye Clinic, will take place in Graf Park in Wheaton, 1855 Manchester Rd from 10 am until 1 pm.&nbsp; The Grand Launch will take place at 11:00 am, with the Wheaton Eye Clinic Kids Mad Dash taking place at 12:00 pm.&nbsp; The first 35 kids that sign up and participate will receive a FREE kite compliments of the Wheaton Eye Clinic.&nbsp; Gift of Wings will be featuring the Badger Dream team flying the Giant Kites, some over 100 feet long.&nbsp; Gift of Wings will be selling kites for this great event.&nbsp; Food Trucks will be on-site!&nbsp; Now, come over to Graf Park and GO FLY A KITE!

Kiddie Academy of St. Charles will host STEM Adventures on Friday, May 8 at 5 p.m. Families of children ages 2 and up are invited to attend this free event to participate in several hands-on, play-based activities focusing on science, technology, engineering and math.&nbsp;

Participating Academies will facilitate STEM activities like bowling, making and flying paper airplanes, participating in a bouncing ball rodeo or creating a ping pong ball launcher.
