Harris returned to art after 30 years as a psychologist in higher education and then in the business world as VP of Talent Development at Pfizer, IBM, ADP, JPMorgan Chase and Colgate Palmolive.

Trained in oil painting and water colors, Harris explored silk-screening, needlepoint and pottery before discovering his passion for clay. Inspired by Tuscany and Provence, he reproduces colors of the Mediterranean in his wheel thrown bowls and dishes. His unique hand-built shells capture the feel of sand and sea from New England summers. Molten sea glass collected at the Connecticut shore complements many shells. Harris lives and works in Westchester County NY.
