Heather Mistretta, Neighbor

I am a professional writer and owner of Pressing Releases, a full-service writing business dedicated to offering quality, creative copy and media outreach. With more than 30 years in the writing field, I have launched a newsletter; managed a team of journalists; written for a worldwide news service; and acted as assistant editor for an alumni magazine. I have also volunteered for social services, tutored math and English to junior high school students in Washington, DC, and taught English as a second language to a Taiwanese minister. In 2013 I co-founded the non-profit, Women & Girls Education-International, for which I am president. I love being active outdoors, dabbling in the kitchen and tackling new challenges.
