Heidi Bentz, Neighbor

I'm a mother in La Mesa, concerning myself with all things healthy - for myself, my kids, and the 'hood where I live.  What's healthy?  Good question.  A local school where my child feels safe and enjoys himself is healthy.  So is a cafe with local art hanging on the walls, especially if it's brewing organic fair trade.   I'm passionate about spreading the joy of organic gardening and vermiculture.   I'm fighting cell phone towers being built near our local schools.   I like to wave to every person that walks by my house.  I think creating a community builds health, so I'd love to create more of it however I can.  If blogging can achieve this, I'm game.
