Help Us Gather (HUG) is part of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Clearwater, Florida. HUG’s mission is to advocate for inclusion and connect individuals with disabilities to social events and activities. Help Us Gather exists to provide every individual with special needs a sense of inclusion, confidence and friendship. At HUG, we believe having a disability should not sentence a person to a life of isolation and loneliness. Help Us Gather’s goal is simple: to create a world where people with disabilities feel accepted and included everywhere they go.

Help Us Gather provides an online community calendar of events specifically designed for children, teens and adults with special needs. HUG partners with more than 75 local and national organizations to advertise these events to thousands of users each month. HUG also hosts events for adults with disabilities through the “Friends of HUG” social group. In addition, HUG advocates for inclusion by hiring individuals with disabilities to work on special projects, pushing for representation in the media and supporting entrepreneurs with special needs.
