I'm a master's candidate in science journalism at Boston University, and a spring 2011 semester correspondant for Waltham Patch.

Prior to starting journalism school in the fall of 2010, I spent 5 years living abroad in Prague and working as a biochemist at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.   I earned my B.A. in chemistry from Amherst College in 2004.
