<h3>LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA: Partners in Healing</h3>
<p>Cancer is a life-changing disease that takes a tremendous physical and emotional toll on those affected. LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA supports cancer survivors and their families through its no-cost program that provides opportunities to engage in physical and social activities focused on strengthening the whole person.</p>
<h4>Benefits of LIVESTRONG at the YMCA:</h4>
<ul><li>Free, 12-week Y membership for the participant and their family</li><li>Fitness Assessment</li><li>Two 75-minute classes each week</li><li>Small group setting (8-10 participants)</li><li>Full access to YMCA facilities, including Kids Corner babysitting services</li><li>Designed for adults who are undergoing or who have completed their cancer treatment</li></ul>
<h4>Join LIVESTRONG at the YMCA</h4>
<p>This program is open to all in our community. To begin the LIVESTRONG at the YMCA program participants should:</p>
<ul><li>Have a strong personal desire to enroll in the program</li><li>Personally commit to attending all classes</li><li>Consult with their physician prior to joining the program</li><li>Permit Y Wellness Staff to call their physician or person giving treatment when necessary</li><li>Obtain medical referral and waiver</li><li>Complete YMCA paperwork and screening questionnaire</li></ul>

<p><strong>Info Sessions: September 1 &amp; September 10 at 6:30PM</strong></p>
<p><strong>Session Dates: September 22 – December 10</strong></p>
<p>Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30PM – 7:45PM</p>
<p><b>Advanced registration is required as class size is limited and given that a doctor’s clearance is required. Enrollment decisions are made individually and confidentially.&nbsp;</b></p>
