Isaac Gutman , Neighbor

A deep-set belief in corporate and social responsibility has helped guide many of the tasks that Isaac Gutman has taken over the past ten years, as he has built an incredibly successful real estate investment career and worked to establish the place of his business, Ryer Reality Group, as one of the most influential real estate firms within the greater New York City area.

Famous real estate investors like Stanley Chera and Ted Lerner were the initial source of Gutman’s desire to enter the real estate market, but his interest did not stop there. He went on to pursue a masters degree in real estate management, then started working to build his investment opportunities and better understand the local market. Now, his real estate empire extends through the New York City, Brooklyn, and Bronx real estate markets, where he is one of the most influential real estate professionals. Issac has successfully weathered many of the ups and downs in the real estate market, including the recession of 2008 and all its implications. Now, he brings that knowledge and skill to help aid both his clients and his own investments as he works to build his portfolio, which currently contains industrial, multi-family, and retail properties.

Isaac Gutman has, throughout the course of his career, handled a broad range of responsibilities. With more than a decade of experience in the real estate industry, he’s done it all: contract negotiations, acquisitions, development, and even developing a better understanding of construction best practices that has helped support his real estate investments and aid his clients on their way to investment success. He continues to handle the daily operations and team management of Ryer Investment Group while partnering with various project management partners and outside consulting firms to help raise both his success and theirs.

When he’s not working, Gutman is highly committed to his community. He partners with a wide range of charities and organizations within the community, helping stamp out poverty and offer greater opportunities within the arts. His support and partnerships include:

• Serving as a board member of the Alliance for a Better New York City Foundation

• Supporting the Mount Sinai Medical Fund of New York

• Supporting the St. Bronx Food Pantries

• Working with the Symmetry Econ Alliance

• Contributing to the New York Endowment of the Arts

As an entrepreneur, Isaac understands the importance, not only of building up his own business, but of giving back to his community and aiding local businesses and citizens alike as they aim to increase their opportunities. He believes strongly in social responsibility, using his connections, influence, and abilities to aid others within his community.

In addition to his many professional and social responsibilities, Isaac is committed to remaining active. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, working out, and spending time with family and friends.
